EPEAT is the comprehensive global standard for greener electronics
EPEAT is the definitive global registry for greener electronics, covering the most products from the broadest range of manufacturers. Only EPEAT combines comprehensive criteria for design, production, energy use and recycling with ongoing independent verification of manufacturer claims. EPEAT currently covers computers and displays; imaging equipment and television standards are currently being implemented and server standard development will continue in 2013.
Become a Subscriber to register products in EPEAT
Join more than 50 other manufacturers already registering qualified electronics in EPEAT. As an EPEAT Subscriber your products will be listed in the EPEAT registry, your company name will appear on our Subscriber list and you’ll be able to place the EPEAT logo on your registered products, product packaging and marketing materials. You’ll access EPEAT resources and staff support and gain public recognition for meeting the most stringent and comprehensive environmental criteria available for electronic products.
Please note that all Subscribers must commit to truthful, substantiated product declarations and agree to cooperate with EPEAT’s rigorous verification processes. At any time, Subscribers must be able to supply evidence that their products meet EPEAT criteria exactly as declared.
Subscribers pay annual fees based on a sliding scale. To join the EPEAT registry, subscribers pay a fee to the “MSE” or Market Surveillance Entity, which manages the EPEAT registry. For verification and declaration support services, subscribers pay a separate fee to a “PRE” or Product Registration Entity of their choice. Both fees are required to become a subscriber. For more information, please see EPEAT Subscriber Fees.
