Product Registration Entities (PREs)
Participating manufacturers may register their products in any device category covered by EPEAT. Those manufacturers are assisted with product registration by Product Registration Entities (PREs), a global network of testing and certification providers who are trained in the EPEAT system and responsible for ensuring the ongoing accuracy of all information submitted during registration. Manufacturers may choose to work with any of the PREs listed below and can engage with multiple PREs if desired.
CESI Certification Body was established by China Electronic Standardization Institute(CESI) which was founded in July 1963 and is a non-profit making institution engaged in standard development, conformity assessment and measurement activities in the field of Electronics and information technologies. CESI Certification body provides professional services regarding green and sustainability aspects of the electronic products , including eco-design, RoHS, Energy Efficiency, Carbon Reduction , ISO 9000, ISO 14000,etc., helping the purchasers, manufactures, resellers and others to find environmental and sustainable products.

China Quality Certification Centre (CQC)
China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) is a professional certification body under China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC) approved by State General Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine and Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China. As the largest professional certification body in China, CQC evolved from the former China Commission for Conformity Certification of Electrical Equipment established in 1984. CQC’s core business involves product certification, including China Compulsory Certification (CCC), voluntary certification, management system certification and certification training services. It is also a state authorized third-party certification body for certification of energy saving, water saving and environmental friendly products.

The Green Electronics Council operates a Product Registration Entity (PRE) that can assist manufacturers with product declarations worldwide on the EPEAT Registry.
