1680.3 Draft Protocols available for review

A first group of Conformity Assessment Protocols for IEEE 1680.3 (Televisions)  have been sent out for review.

Please note that this is a subset of the 1680.3 criteria – only those that are unique to 1680.3 are included in this comment round. (An additional subset of 1680.3 criteria that are similar to but distinct from 1680.2criteria will be released for comment by September 24.)

Comments are due on September 25, 2012. If you would like to participate in the review, you can download the documents here.

Please be advised that we are only taking comments via the comment spreadsheet entitled “1680 3 Protocols Input Form.” All comments submitted in the spreadsheet format and by the deadline will be reviewed and taken under advisement. Completed protocols input form spreadsheets  should be sent to Andrea Desimone.

Since there are significant areas of overlap between the IEEE 1680.2 and IEEE 1680.3 standards, and those overlapping criteria were reviewed in a previous comments round, we have not included those criteria that are consistent or identical across the 1680.2 and 1680.3 standards in this round.
